The Coven of Dawn (Heritage Down)

The Coven of Dawn was founded my Micheal Tusk twenty five years ago. Only three of the original members remain. Cybil, Harvey Micks and Ashien Hassan. They are dedicated to furthering their power, practicing and helping the Psychic communities.

Tusk was an eccentric businessman living in the lap of corporate luxury. He was the head of project developments of Thentopan Incorporated, who once led the drive of Bioengineering and genetic enhancement. Before he committed corporate espionage. Tusk was responsible for the greatest leek in the history of the corporate world. Bringing Thentopan to its knees overnight by placing project files and company secrets in the matrix for public access. The board of directors and many scientists where forced to flee North America for countries outside the countries reach due to the illegal nature of some of this projects. It was never proven that Tusk benefited from what he did. But a year before he did this he created a trust. Heritage Downs. Tusk was arrested and is currently serving a 250 year sentence for the crimes of theft, espionage and crimes against humanity, as he was indited as one of those responsible for the atrocities of the corporation. He is now 65.

Heritage Downs is not only a gated community in Churchwood, it is a charity organization dedicated to the preservation of places, items and buildings at risk of being sold, destroyed or manipulated by the private sector in and around The mega cities of the Atlantic City Grid. The community itself is a safe haven for humans with psychic gifts who offer their services to the work of the Coven and the organization. Covertly the community offers a chance to those needing to escape the control the world places on psychics. Those brave enough to add to their work can stay, the rest are relocated around the country. Thanks to the three founding members Heritage Downs continues the work of Tusk, keeping and eye on the corporations and standing up to them when necessary. The organization has its fingers in many pies including; the city council, lawyers, the NB University and more.

Heritage Downs Community is all but self sustaining. Growing their own vegetables and rearing their own live stoke, building and maintaining their own tiny community. It is not a massive village, it supports twenty odd people. They are not anti technology, they just choose to live for themselves in organic farming. What they don't use they sell in the Markets. This gated community consists of several log cabins around a community kitchen/town hall. They boast a small bar where they sell their own moonshine. Members are free to come and go as they please but those living here have to support the coven in one of a few ways. Add to the rituals, farm, maintenance, security or others depending on their talents. It is not a prerequisite that they have to live here. Many have businesses outside of the community. as long as Members support in some way.
